This girl has an obsession! She SQUEALS when she see's the wagon!

 

And she is lucky he loves to pull her around.

 

 

This was earlier in the week BEFORE we knew about the ear infection.

 

Bound To Happen

I'm proud to say my lil KG has made it 11 months without getting sick TILL now.

 

I knew she had a cough but I had NO idea she had an ear infection! Yep, you heard me, EAR INFECTION! The past 3 days she acted fine but had this "smokers" cough. Well Wednesday night my lil baby was basically awake every hour. At 4 I decided I better go check for a fever and sure enough she was BURNING up! So I took her temp (101.9), stripped her down and gave her some Tylenol. The fever went way down but we went ahead and made a dr. apt. We didn't see our dr. but saw the one that was at our location for the day. It was so surprising to hear she had an ear infection because she is playing as normal, running around in the walker, pointing at the deer, etc.

Last night was a lil rough. Baby girl did NOT want to sleep in her bed and cried so I took her and moved to the couch. She slept most of the night but would have these coughing spells that would wake her up. BUT needless to say she woke up happy and has been playing as normal and down for a nap in her bed RIGHT NOW! Hopefully tonight she will be back in her bed so I can get some sleep!

SO that's what has been going on this week!

Kept meaning to do this post for like 2 weeks and kept forgetting.

What's Up

Currently nothing major going on over here.

 

I must admit to an obsession......

 

The past few evenings it has been nice outside so this is how we spent them.

 



 

Again weather has been nice so we went for a one mile walk.

 

Karlee Grace is totally into books right now! Her favorite is Skip's Big Day. I LOVE this book! Josh's mom found it. My older dog's name is Skip so this book is special to me.

 

Check out the cutest pants! My mom actually made this back in January and they FINALLY fit!

 

And this is what I see if I look down! I am so in love with that lil face!!!!!

 

11 Months

 

 

 

Weight and Height:

Weight is somewhere between 18-19lbs.

Height is like 26 1/2 in.

 

Clothing Sizes:

Mainly 6-9 month.

6 month onsies.

6-9 month sleepers.

Dresses all depend on length.

3-6 month shorts (in order for them to actually look like shorts, lol)

Moving into size 3 diapers.

 

Eating Habits:

We have started whole milk and have made it 2 full days! 4 - 5oz bottles (about to take the bottle away and move on to sippies all the way!) Eating table foods (even without teeth). Still loves cheese, gold fish, puffs, and bananas.

 

Sleeping Habits:

She sleeps 8 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. and then takes two one hour naps a day! Most mornings I hear her in there playing in her bed.

 

Favorites:

MICKEY MOUSE Clubhouse!

She loves playing with any toys that light up and play music especially her laptop.

She spends a lot of time RUNNING around the living room/kitchen area in her walker.

Crawling and pulling up on EVERYTHING! 

She has no sense of fear! She loves to be thrown around or have the feeling of being dropped.

Waving bye bye to people.

She loves to laugh at her daddy and her brothers (the dogs).

Lots of playing going on in our house.

 Leap frog activity table keeps her happy.

 

Still NO teeth! Karlee Grace is very active and follows my every step.

One of the cutest things she does is start clapping when I sing "If Your Happy and You Know It".

 

Its been a year since I actually went to work and I can't imagine working now. I love that I am blessed with the opportunity to stay home with my lil baby lovin!

Going Home

Well the beach was fun but it was time to head home!

 

 

Notice the dress is blocking the sun and Mickey is playing on the kindle in the back window! LOL

 

Last FULL Beach Day!

Last full day at the beach started with some Mickey Mouse.

 

Me and Karlee Grace had a lil photo shoot on the beach after Mickey Mouse.

 

We spent time at the pool, went to lunch, went shopping at the tacky lil beach stores (a must do at the beach!) and then stayed in for dinner.

Day 5

Well this day sure didn't start out like I thought it would!

 

My absolute worse fear is SNAKES! And the Thursday before we left for the beach our dog was actually bit by a snake. SO leaving the house was a good thing or so I thought.......apparently I attract snakes!

 

SO on our morning walk do to the beach I stop and say JOSH is that a snake!!! OMG, it is! Not what I expected to see at the beach!

 

 

I couldn't get over the snake so we go back to the condo and I'm tell Lindsay ALL about it and look out the glass door to see this RIGHT in front of the condo! THE DANG SNAKE!!!!!!!! Needless to say I was FLIPPING out! No more pictures in the grass after that!

 

And let me just say after we headed home we got a phone call saying the snake had made its way up on the patio!!! Glad we were gone!

 

Not to much went on this day other than the whole snake ordeal, swimming and laying out.

 

We did go out to celebrate Josh's birthday. All he wanted was crab legs so we went to eat at the Crab Trap and afterwards we spent some time on the beach.

 

Every beach trip needs some good pictures! It was a beautiful evening on the beach.

We went to dinner at Moe's BBQ and I'm NOT a BBQ fan but this was awesome! Def a whole in the wall and not the typical place I would eat at BUT I didn't say anything and it was great!
