Valentine's Day

2013/2014

Let me just say I'm lucky to have spent the last 10 Valentines with my Joshua! I'm so proud to say he is my husband and Karlee Grace's daddy. I can't wait to spend the next 100 Valentines with him!

 

We spent the day running around and eating at our FAVORITE place, Baumhower Wings however it was NOT good! Very disappointing!

Since lunch was a bust, Josh decided we need a Pasta Mill (brick oven) pizza and some cookies for dinner. (My kinda date!)

 

This cracked me up! Ms. Donna's Valentine gift to Karlee Grace! KG loved the lil potty! She walked around carrying it saying look! She house no idea what it really is.

 

We got KG a book, ABC and Color flash cards, and daddy picked out a Minnie mouse jewelry set.

Mimi and Pepaw got her a red teddy bear with a chocolate heart candy, gummy bears and a book.

Memaw and Grandpa got her a HUGE stuffed dog and an outfit.

 

Over all it was an awesome day because I spent it with my two loves!

 

 

Rare Moment

We spent 2:30-5:00 at the church today working on the big Easter program. I think it must have wore KG out because this is how she watched Mickey Mouse this evening. NOT NORMAL! This kid never lays down! Hope she sleeps well tonight!

16 Months

Weight and Height:
These are all 15 months stats bc I have NO CLUE!

22 lbs. 8 oz. - 50%
 30 in - 25%

AND the girl has a BIG head! LOL 95%
  

Clothing Sizes:

12 month all around for the most part however moving into 18 months. Kinda in between sizes currently.

Szie 3 shoes.

Size 4 diapers.

 

Eating Habits:

2 sippy cups of milk a day

Multiple sippy cups a day of a half apple juice/half water.

All table foods.

Favorites are ANYTHING that includes fruit loops and cheese.

Other food include pickles, yogurt, raisins, grapes, bananas, oatmeal, pizza, gold fish, graham crackers, salami, pepperoni.

HORRIBLE eater.....I have no idea why! LOL

 

Sleeping Habits:

Sleeping 7:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

We have basically dropped the morning nap (sometimes she still takes one) and taking a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.

 

Favorites:

MICKEY MOUSE Clubhouse!

Minnie 4 wheeler.

Cozy coupe! Loads it up with all her toys.

Purple Violet leap frog dog.

Singing EIEIO - I sing the other part.

BOOKS, BOOKS, and MORE BOOKS!

Still waving hi and bye and saying hey and bye to anyone that enters or exit's the room.

Clapping and dancing.

Wink at the lil cutie and she blinks back, so stinkin cute!

High fives for EVERYONE.

Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Ears and her favorite Tummy are all down pat.

Happy and You Know It! Girl claps and points at her face and hums along.

Constantly trying to pet the dogs and say awwww.

Working on animal sounds and colors currently.

Big eyes (she throws her chin down touching her chest and looks up at you with her eyes WIDE open! it's hilarious!!!!!!)

I say 1 and she automatically says 2 but hasn't quite figured out the whole number thing.

Night Night

Our nightly routine with Karlee Grace has been the same for quite sometime.

Bath, play, brush teeth, read books, turn out the light then off to bed.

 

This is the last book we read every night.

 

I have read this so many times I have it memorized. I hope I never forget the words of this book.

 

Sweet Hop, my little sleepyhead, It's time for you to go to bed.

 

First we'll put you in the tub, Splash and play and rub-a-dub!

 

Snap, snap, snap, your belly's gone and look who's got her jammies on.

 

Here's your toothbrush, here's your cup. Brush-a-brush and wash you up.

 

Time for bed now, off we go.

 

Don't forget your blankie though!

 

Come over here and pick a book. Let's open it and take a look!

 

Close your eyes, my sweetie pie, while I sing a lullaby.

 

All right, Hop, my sleepyhead, at last we'll tuck you into bed.

After we finish reading I normally rock Karlee Grace for a little while however here lately she points at the light (I turn the lamp off) and she reaches for her bed. I want so badly to rock her. She is growing up so quick! I love watching her grow and I'm thankful I get to read to her every night! I hope to continue reading to her every night till she asks me to quit.
