First Bruise

Well our lil Karlee Grace has her first bruise on her forehead. She was jumping in the jenny jumper attached to the door frame and hit her head 3 times within like 2 minutes. She never cried but I said okay lets quit before you get hurt..........then I noticed the lil red spot. I didn't say anything thinking it wasn't that noticeable and it really isn't however Josh, my sister and mother in law all noticed.

 

Oh will I'm sure its the first of MANY!

 

I'm not sure you can actually see it in this picture but this is the best I could get.

Random Day

I LOVE coming home to find this at my doorstep! Oh you know just 135 pictures. Just had to share.

 

Lunch date excitement!

 

 

 

One day last week Karlee Grace and I went to lunch with one of my high school friends, Timmery, and her boys. Timmery and I have been friends since 8th grade! One of my first memories with Timmery is of her walking across the street to come see me play softball and hang out. Years later we were both in each others weddings and now on to having kids. Of course we would go eat Mexican! Its only our favorite! And after we ate we ran in Target to just do a little shopping.

After lunch we had to run my Ms. Donna's house and let the dogs out and it was the perfect time for a lil photo shoot!

 

 

I'm so sad that Karlee Grace will probably not be able to wear this outfit again. Its a 3-6 month and the shirt is a little short and the shorts are big. I had to roll the short trying to get them to fit her in the waist. It is such a cute outfit that my mom picked up.

 

 



BFF Summer Kickoff

Well it's officially summer and what better way to kick it off than to have my best friend come to town! Kyndal hasn't been here in a few months so Karlee Grace is a lot more active than she was last time. We had such a fun lazy weekend!

 

Friday after noon we sat outside and played.

 

 

Then Saturday we hung by the pool for a little while

After spending some time in the sun we ordered some pizza and hung out around the house.

 

I told you we were totally lazy! This was Sunday morning before Kyndal and Clay left.

 

 

So incredibly thankful to have Kyndal in my life! It's always so much fun when we are together. I can't wait for her to get a bigger house so we can go visit her. They have been great about coming to see us since Karlee Grace was born. It would be a tight squeeze for us in their house...BUT that is all going to change soon, I hope!!

 

 

Can't wait to see her in a few short weeks at the lake! We have spent many summers on lake martin together and I can only hope our children grow up spending summers on the lake together too!

Luvs

We are officially buying diapers!! Totally blessed to have made it 8 1/2 months with out buying diapers with the exception of a few packs when we ran out of newborn and size 1.

Pampers were great when Karlee Grace was a newborn however the Luvs work just as good now! And they are a little bit cheaper.

Photo Shoot!

So we LOVE to take pictures and downtown is just the perfect place! So my lil sister and I ran downtown and spent a total of like 10 minutes taking pictures! LOVE THEM!

 

 

Father's Day

My poor dad was lucky to have 3 girls and all he wanted was a boy, lol. But having girls didn't change the way he raised us. He is the reason we know how to drive 4 wheelers, jet skis, boats, the reason we love the outdoors. We have been camping, hunting, fishing for as long as I can remember. He did everything with us that he would have with a boy.

Karlee Grace is one of the luckiest little girls to have Josh as her daddy! She has no idea what he has already don't to provide her with the perfect life! He is the reason I get to stay home everyday and take care of this lil doll baby!

Fathers Day morning Karlee Grace was still asleep at 8:30 so Josh decided he wanted to wake her up. He is not here most mornings when she wakes up so it was a little special moment to see him go in a wake her.

Splish Splash

Splish Splash I was takin a bath............

Okay so we weren't really taking a bath but the water kinda felt like it!

 

I just HAD to have this big blow up pool and little did I know how much of a PAIN it would be! We have a ton of trees in the back yard so trash stays in the pool and its way to heavy to flip by myself. Last time we used it I said I was DONE, NEVER AGAIN! Well it was 95 degree's today so I decided to give it a try one more time. So this time I only put enough water in it to sit in. This time it was a success. Karlee Grace sat and splashed around for about 45 minutes.

We might just have to go for a dip tomorrow too.
