Fun in the Sun

This post is a little late! It really took place around my birthday May 22!

I have a feeling we will spend a lot of time camping this summer. We actually hauled the camper up to the lake and left it for the summer. It is a little over an hour drive up to the lake and takes us a good hour to get EVERYTHING set up the way well like it.

It's so worth it to have this view!

We had such a good time! This was KG's first time in the lake and she wasn't a fan at first but she is coming around.

 

 

While on this trip well celebrated my 27th birthday! How did I get so old? Seems like yesterday I was graduating from high school and I have almost been out of school 10 years!!!!!!!!! WHAT!!! How is that possible!!!!!

We actually ended up leaving early because KG had a runny eye and cough. She acted fine but when I talked to the doctor they suggested bring her in to be on the safe side. OF COURSE she was fine! And we have already gone on another trip!

We actually packed the truck in 30 minutes Friday with intensions of heading to the lake then we looked at the forecast and unpacked the truck. But at least we have the packing down to a 30 minute process! I have a feeling there will be lots of camping trips this summer!

Can't wait to go back and spend time with my lil fam on the lake! I also look forward to going with my parents, sisters and brother in laws and the rest of the "redneck yacht club" later this summer.
