Our first over night trip with KG was to Lake Eufaula with my family. My parents, Granny, Aunt and Uncle rented a house for a week and all the kids came and went as we could. We actually packed up and left earlier than we had planned. I was a little nervous but must said it was a smooth trip down. This was Spring break so you would expect warmer weather................yeah right! I think it was the coldest few days of the year and the wind was blowing so hard!!! My sister took some pictures for us while we were there.
I would love to say this trip went smooth however we did have a lil hiccup along the way. I think KG was dealing with some gas issues but she gave us all a scare one night with her uncontrollable crying. By the time Josh made the 20 minute trip to the Dollar General and made it back she was fast asleep in my arms. She had slept in the pack n play up till that night but we made an exception and let her sleep in the king size bed with us that night. Overall it was a great first over night trip! So glad we got to spend some time with my Granny, Aunt and Uncle!
